I am a science professional with extensive research experience in algal biochemistry, nutritional profiling, biopolymers, probiotic utilisation, and antioxidant metabolites.

My academic journey has been shaped by advanced training under eminent research groups, fuelling a passion for guiding postgraduate students toward research-oriented careers. My current work focuses on marine polysaccharide-based prebiotics for gut-microbiome health, understanding the modulation of gut-microbial dysbiosis and its possible therapeutic interventions, algal bioprocessing for value-added compounds, and marine biopolymer-based tissue-engineering scaffolds.

Alongside research, I am passionate about academics, training postgraduate students, and promoting curiosity-driven, hands-on learning — a journey enriched by training under eminent research groups and global scientific collaborations.
